The Idesian Accord

By the Will of the Imperial Crown, and in the Light of Ancestral Union, this Accord restores the Duchy of New Ides to its rightful station within the dominion of The Second Lilaris Empire.

Preamble

Through the solemn and sacred marriage of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Kara A. Ehrveil, Sovereign of The Second Lilaris Empire, and Her Imperial Highness, Riven Skorne, Duchess of New Ides, the long-divided lands of Ides are restored to Imperial fellowship.

Article I: Restoration of Status

  1. New Ides is hereby reaffirmed as a Duchy of The Second Lilaris Empire, retaining its internal traditions, noble line, and regional governance under the Imperial Charter.

  2. The Duchy shall enjoy autonomous stewardship over its lands, titles, and minor laws, within the bounds of Imperial Law and the oversight of the Crown.

Article II: Titles and Succession

  1. Her Imperial Highness, Riven Skorne, is recognized as:

    • Duchess of New Ides, by right of blood.
    • Imperial Consort of the Second Lilaris Empire, by right of marriage.

  2. Any heirs issued from the union of Kara and Riven shall bear imperial and ducal titles as decreed by the Imperial Charter.

  3. Her Imperial Majesty, Kara A. Ehrveil, shall hold no governing title within New Ides, but shall be named First Patron of New Ides, a ceremonial honor denoting her role in its return to the Empire.

Article III: Governance and Representation

  1. The New Ides shall resume its voice in the Imperial Council through Duchess Riven Skorne.
  2. The Idesian Guard shall be reinstated as a ceremonial and civil defense force, subordinate to the Imperial Command but answering first to the Duchess.
  3. All former provincial accords between New Ides and external powers shall be subject to review jointly by the Imperial Council and the Noble Council.

Article IV: Commemoration and Continuity

  1. The Day of Reunion shall be declared a minor imperial holiday, observed annually on the date of the accord’s ratification.
  2. All historical grievances between New Ides and the Crown are to be formally declared resolved by Imperial Seal.
