Overview
Crazy Eli, the former leader of Crazy Town, was a brilliant yet eccentric engineer. He is best remembered for designing the infamous Crazy Cannon, a symbol of his ingenuity and unpredictability. He is also known for his involvement in XreaTech vs. Walrus Luditus.
Early Appearances
Eli was first identified in early 230. He wasted no time living up to his name, erecting a gargantuan wooden and rock skyscraper in the center of Terranova. Folks of the time said the structure “obscured the sun’s light until lunchtime.” Shortly after its completion, Eli retired from public life for some time.
Eli was known to claim he was one of 1,000 siblings. No historical census accounts for any of the other 999, and the boast is generally treated as mythology — an early signal of the grandiosity that would later define him.

Return and the Walrus Trial
Many weeks into his retirement, Eli was convinced to return to public life to preside as judge over XreaTech vs. Walrus Luditus. The trial ended in chaos when the defendant, having won acquittal, detonated an explosive at the back of the courthouse. Eli later revealed he had been conspiring with Luditus throughout the proceedings.
Descent and the Cold War
Following the trial, Eli’s descent into madness accelerated. His increasingly erratic leadership of Crazy Town hardened the rivalry with Lilarreich into the Lilarreich-Crazy Town Cold War — a standoff that never escalated into direct battle between the two powers, but played out through proxy conflicts among the smaller factions caught between them. The cold war only thawed after Eli’s death, when Walrus Luditus took over Crazy Town and made amends.
